This night was belt test night! As the day led up to the test, Teresa soothed her nerves, and I got my speeches, and presentation prepared.
The test night itself went amazingly well, and T had a great showing! She made it through the demonstration of 75 techniques with poise, and without complaint, survived the endurance portion of the test, with 80 minutes of "a fresh guy every minute coming in on top." Thankfully, all of this without injury exacerbation.
At home afterwards, we shared lots of faux-derisive jokes about "white belts," while she iced her thumb and body.
I'm so proud!
